Fotoware expands German cloud location with modern architecture
Fotoware is strengthening its Digital Asset Management (DAM) SaaS offering with the launch of a new, additional Microsoft Azure location in Germany for Fotoware Veloz. This addition is part of our ongoing investment in modern cloud infrastructure in order to deliver enhanced performance, scalability, and data residency options for our customers.
Built on a next-generation architecture, the new environment introduces horizontal scaling, ensuring the platform can meet increasing demands while providing faster response times and improved reliability.
It also lays the foundation for future innovations in how customers store, manage, and distribute digital assets in the cloud while benefiting from secure data hosting in Germany, just as you are used to from our existing German location.
— “We are now leveraging the latest cloud technology and deliver improved performance and flexibility while ensuring data is hosted in line with regional requirements, also in Germany.”
Benefits for customers
This new German cloud service location introduces a range of improvements designed to enhance the overall SaaS experience for Fotoware Veloz customers.
Improved performance and reliability
Built on next-generation cloud architecture, the new environment provides a more robust setup, faster response times, smoother asset handling, and higher uptime. This ensures a consistent and efficient user experience, even as data volumes grow.
Scalability for future needs
The platform is designed to scale horizontally, meaning customers can handle increasing workloads, more users, and larger digital libraries without sacrificing speed or performance.
Data residency and compliance
With data stored within Germany, customers can meet strict regulatory and compliance requirements, an important factor for organizations operating in sectors such as government, healthcare, and law enforcement.
