Fotoware and Picturepark unite under one brand and one website

15. October 2025

As part of bringing Picturepark and Fotoware together under one brand, we are uniting our websites picturepark.com and fotoware.com, so that fotoware.com becomes the central home for product information, resources, and updates.

The Picturepark Content Platform, now renamed Fotoware Alto, remains a cornerstone of our product portfolio, serving organizations that need structured metadata and omnichannel content distribution.

A stronger future together

When Fotoware acquired Picturepark in 2022, the goal was clear: to combine two powerful approaches to digital asset and content management into a stronger product offering. This vision has taken shape.

Fotoware Alto continues as a strong headless, structured metadata platform designed to support complex digital ecosystems - from a central content hub and advanced automation to structured content reuse and omnichannel delivery.

Fotoware Alto: continuing the legacy, building the future

Picturepark has always been recognized for its expertise in structured metadata, master data management, and content distribution across systems. That legacy not only continues but grows stronger under the name Fotoware Alto.

The name “Alto,” derived from the word “altitude”, reflects the platform’s mission: giving organizations a higher perspective and greater control over how content and data are managed and connected.

From our offices in Baden, Switzerland, the Fotoware Alto team is actively building the future of the platform with a focus on innovation, scalability, and customer success. We are continuing to invest in our team, our technology, and our customers, ensuring that Fotoware Alto reaches even greater heights in the years to come.

Thank you for being part of the journey
