Fotoware accelerates global brand strategy with new Head of Marketing

16. September 2025

Fotoware is in the middle of an exciting chapter of our global growth journey. Over the past four years, we have tripled our revenue, expanded our global footprint, and recently we launched our next-generation product for workflow automation, Fotoware Flow.

With digital content growing at high speed, we see more than ever the importance of structure, control, accessibility, as well as content authenticity. These are areas where Fotoware is uniquely positioned and acknowledged by trusted reports like the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Asset Management.

Welcoming an experienced marketing expert to the team

The driving force behind our achievements is and has always been our people. Fotoware would never be where it is today without our strong culture - a culture that gives people the ability to learn and grow, and to influence our success as a company.

I have always believed that one of the core pillars of leadership is empowering people. To build an inclusive workplace where ambition and care go hand in hand has been close to my heart throughout my career. It matters to me because when people feel valued, supported, and trusted, they not only thrive themselves, but they also make the company thrive as a whole.

This we observe every day at Fotoware. Over the past few years, the share of women in the management team, and across the company has grown from 20 percent to nearly 50 percent. We prioritize a positive and inclusive workplace culture, strong leadership skills, professional training, personal development, and extended health benefits for employees.

To support the next stage of growth, and further strengthening our global brand, we welcome Hilde Nielsen as Head of Marketing and Communication as part of our leadership team. Hilde joins us from Semine, one of the fastest-growing SaaS businesses in the Nordics, and brings with her extensive experience from Microsoft and high-growth technology environments.
