Live webinar Proving what's real: the role of DAM in content authenticity
Why content credentials break, and the role Digital Asset Management systems plays in ensuring that they don't.
Live on: 25th of September 2026
Time: 10:00 CEST (Berlin, Paris, Rome) / 09:00 BST (UK & Ireland)
20 minutes conversation + Q&As at the end
Since Generative AI started flooding digital channels with deep-fakes of various kinds, distinguishing a real image from a manipulated one is no longer an easy task.
Today, a convincing image proves very little on its own. The useful question has shifted from whether an image looks right to whether you can prove where it came from.
Content Credentials answer that question by offering people a way to visually inspect the traceable history of a file. But they only work if the signed record survives the file's entire lifecycle.
As for their lifecycles, most media files pass through a Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution at least once before reaching their intended audiences. Whether it's on the way to publication, at ingestion, during the selection and approval phase, or during general edits, the DAM is typically where such assets live, and plays a crucial role in ensuring that provenance records are kept intact and updated.
If an image looses its traceable history inside the DAM, it's no longer possible to prove its authenticity, resulting in a drastic value decrease.
Join Radmila Stoltz and Birger Øvensen for a short, practical session on where provenance breaks in a normal content workflow, what a DAM has to do to keep the chain intact, and how Fotoware works to ensure traceable content authenticity from capture to publication.
What You Will Learn
- What separates key terms, such as content authenticity, C2PA and Content Credentials.

- What end-to-end C2PA support means in practice.
- How visible credentials and search filters can help everyone in the organization to act on provenance data.
The webinar lasts 30 minutes, including a Q&A session at the end.
