Meet Fotoware at ICOM-CC 2026 in Oslo

The knowledge surrounding a collection is as important as the files themselves. Meet us at ICOM-CC 2026 to explore a practical way to preserve images, records and their context - and make them easier for colleagues and future researchers to find and understand.

Documentation that can outlive the people who made it

Conservation generates enormous quantities of documentation: condition images, treatment records, technical photography, analytical results. Most of it is created carefully and then stored out of sight.

We want to talk about how a metadata-driven archive keeps that documentation usable for other team members, the next conservator, and the next generation.

At the conference you can:

  • See how Fotoware Veloz handles conservation documentation at scale
  • Discuss metadata standards, controlled vocabularies, and long-term readability
  • Look at ingestion workflows for technical and multispectral imaging
  • Ask how other museums and archives have structured their collections

Meet the team behind a Norwegian DAM vendor, on Norwegian ground

Fotoware has worked with GLAM institutions for years, including Munchmuseet, Nasjonalmuseet, Nasjonalbiblioteket, Vestfoldmuseene IKS, Kode kunstmuseer og komponisthjem, Arkivverket - Riksarkivet, Blaafarveværket, Statens Historiska Museer, Queensland Museum,  and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum.

Book a conversation

Fill in the form and we will set aside time during the week. Tell us what you are working on and we will come prepared.

About ICOM-CC

The 21st ICOM-CC Triennial Conference runs 14 to 18 September 2026 in Oslo, under the theme Cultural Connections in Conservation. It brings conservators, conservation scientists, curators, and collection managers together from museums and heritage institutions worldwide, and this time it lands on our home ground.
