FotoWare wins Great Place to Work award for Best Workplace in Norway for the second year in a row

FotoWare is one of Norway's best workplaces

FotoWare is proud to announce that, for the second time in a row, we have officially been named Norway’s Best Workplace for companies with 25-49 employees 2021 after a thorough and independent analysis* conducted by Great Place to Work® Norway.

After a challenging year for most people and organizations all over the world, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved together as a team, continuing to build our great culture and leadership.

img-blog-Anne“Being a great workplace for us means we are on an ongoing journey of building a caring culture where everyone feels safe and included, can be themselves and do their best work every day. The culture and leadership effects our satisfaction and wellbeing at work, it impacts our growth potential as a company, our brand perception, and recruitment of talent. Being recognized by Great Place to Work Norway for the work we have done, and continuously do, means a lot to us. It is extra special being awarded two years in a row and while in the middle of a pandemic." - Anne Gretland, CEO of FotoWare.

Diversity is in FotoWare’s core, with 16 nationalities represented across the organization. 42% of the employees are women (the tech industry on average is 29%) and the leadership team has a 50/50 gender balance.

Seeing the positive effects on how we are understanding the global market we operate in, the valuable discussions we have in our meetings, and how we learn from each other is inspiring. This is definitely a competitive advantage, as well as an important part of the great work culture we have.” - Peter Josefsson-Ruud – Head of Development.

Winning the Great Place to Work Award in our category for the second consecutive year is a great recognition of the work we all put in every day, acting on our values of being caring, passionate, responsible, and innovative with each other, our customers, partners, and collaborators.

"FotoWare inspires by actions of inclusion, diversity, and transparency - all key factors in a great workplace. They have high trust and strong relationships, and it is encouraged to try new things and make mistakes, which fosters innovation. Management seeks and encourages discussion, sharing of ideas and perspectives, ensuring that they can meet the best possible solutions for the company and its customers. Congratulations to FotoWare for a well-deserved first place in the category 25-49 employees of Norway’s Best Workplaces," says Jannik Falck, CEO of Great Place to Work Norway.

“Most of 2020, and 2021 so far, has been vastly different to what we thought of as normal before. Having digital coffee talks, outside walk-and-talks, virtual escape rooms and quizzes, to name a few, have been an important part of keeping the social glue in the organization while we have all been working from home for so long." - Recruitment Specialist Arna Storm.

*The accreditation process is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about the workplace experience.
