FotoWeb Desktop for iPhone is a companion app for users and administrators of a FotoWare DAM system. It allows you to search and preview content in your archives and set up Alerts (search agents) so you can be notified of new content in archives. You can also upload files from the Pictures library on your iPhone or iPad to any archive that you have access to and required metadata to the files in the upload process.

Feature highlights: 

• Search and preview content in all the FotoWeb Archives you have access to.
• High-resolution image zooming and panning for a detailed look at pictures stored in the archives
• Alerts (search agents) that notify you of new content in your archives based on a custom search for any XMP metadata content.
• Direct file upload over mobile data connection or WiFi with server controlled metadata requirements and choice of target archive.

Note that although the app is available through the App Store, it can only be used with SR4 server applications, typically our demo server.

Downloading and configuring FotoWeb Desktop for iPhone for first use: 

1. Download FotoWeb Desktop for iPhone this location on the App Store.
2. When the download finishes, tap the FotoWeb iconto start the app.
3. You will be asked to supply a host name and a username/password. Use the following credentials:
   Host name: fotoweb.fotoware.com
   User name: demo
   Password: demo
4. Click on Done to store the settings and start using the app.
