Creative work and integration
The logical step after storing the pictures on a production server is the creative work of enhancing the picture, cropping it, or working with it in a third party application. Standard tools for editing the files, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Quark XPress, are all supported. These files are even indexed by FotoWare for full text search and retrieval capabilities.
Quark Xpress and InDesign integration
An especially useful integration is the drag and drop feature from both FotoStation and FotoWeb to Quark XPress and InDesign to ease and speed up page layout. Both applications (FotoXStream and ColorMan) are fully supported by FotoWare, and the image processing is done automatically in the background by the server, securing the fastest ever production of pages with color pictures. |
