Every picture entering the system can be fully color monitored, ensuring that any ICC data sent from the provider is used to secure quality throughout the entire process. FotoWare is one of the few systems that can apply ICC profiles to both thumbnails and previews. Centralized processes on the servers will also remove the risk of any unpredictable changes or human errors.
Automated processes
A problem associated with large volumes is the purging and removal or deletion of unwanted material. FotoWare can be set up to do this automatically according to a number of criteria, hence reducing the necessity of manual intervention.
Another benefit is the total control of cross media publishing; one picture is converted to CMYK for print, another is resized in RGB to be used on the web page, while another is moved untouched to the long term archive.
