Signing a Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is the best way of protecting your FotoWare investment and staying up-to-date with developments at FotoWare. Our SMA enables you to download all FotoWare software releases, service releases and new builds, including major upgrades with new features.

Manage your licences
The Licence Centre makes all licence information available to you. It allows you to update registration information, add contact persons for the Software Maintenance Agreements and get an overview of your licences.
Download service releases and updates
The SMA gives you access to downloads of all new product updates and service releases. The SMA also covers major upgrades which non-SMA customers will be charged for. It’s simple to log into the download area where you will find existing and new versions as soon as they are posted.
Priority support
When you add a FotoWare SMA when purchasing new software or upgrading existing software, you can extend the initial warranty period by an additional 12 months. You are entitled to priority technical e-mail support from your local reseller if you encounter problems with the software. Guaranteed response time is the next business day.
Your reseller can offer you a local support agreement with regards to
configuration, telephone support and training.
SMA Newsletter
An SMA newsletter will be sent out regularly to inform you every time there is a new update on the download site; this will typically include new builds, service releases, and other important news. You will be the first to know about our new releases and information about our training courses.
Other SMA Privileges
As an SMA customer you will be offered discounts on FotoWare training courses.
As an SMA holder, you can easily access KeyWriter, an application which allows you to receive upgrades of your licenses or the transfer of licenses between your hardware keys. This is a useful tool if you have multiple servers and want to move applications between these servers. FotoWare KeyWriter also allows you to receive licenses for new applications without having to be shipped/charged for new hardware keys.
Price
An SMA is the most cost -effective way of staying up-to-date with your FotoWare system. When purchased together with new software, the cost is 18% of the current list price of the installed software. When adding an SMA to an already existing FotoWare system, the price is 21% for the first year. After that it drops to the usual 18%.
