| Q |
How can I improve the search performance in Index Manager? |
| A |
The Index Data folder (IM_DATA) can be set to a different location than the Index folder. This means that it’s possible to use network folders (on other Windows servers with NTFS disk) as Index folders.
The performance of search is often much higher when a disk that can use the local system cache is used to store the index data files.

| A |
It acts as a network catalog service, simplifying the archiving process and
making the files easier accessible. With Index Manager, your archive can expand
